Decemeber Activities
What a month full of activities. It seemed like every weekend we had some kind of event going on. The month began with a week long conference in Millstatt, Austria. Our team, along with a few from Croatia and Serbia, participated in a seminar on Spiritual Healing. It was amazing that just in a period of three days we saw God through His Holy Spirit reveal some big things to our team and especially to Johnny and me. Dave Patty and Mel and Amy Ellenwood came down to lead this conference and encourage us along the way and I have to say that we feel so blessed to be a part of a team that really is seeking the movement of the Spirit and changing of lives!

The next big thing was Sara leaving. Our time with her was amazing. For those of you who don’t know Sara she is an unbelievable generous girl who loves the Lord with all her heart and wants more than anything to serve Him first. This pours out of Sara’s life in the way she interacts with our team, our students and anyone she comes in contact with. The day she left so many people asked us how it went, saying goodbye. It was strange because it felt easy. We miss her and love her like family but it was also great to, in a way, send her off. I know the Lord touched some serious parts of her life and we can’t wait to see how He continues to move in and through her as she is back in the states! We love you Sara!!

Then of course came the holidays! Johnny and I took a day trip to Klagenfurt, Austria to go to the Christmas market and just hang out for the day. Yes! Those are brats and hot dogs!

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day cooking. Johnny and I are terrible at planning for the last minute but it was worth it. Johnny made his famous Chai Caj for our team and friends and we only had one accident! The picture is the Chai Caj that is boiled over. Oh whoops! We cooked for our Christmas dinner with the Jacksons and Jenkins and had a great time spending the evening with them.

And…New Years! We basically did the same as last year. Set up Rock Band and Wii in our church and played games all night. It was a great night with friends and we believe we’ve recovered from all the late nights!
